This is a base plate that attaches to your DTX-Multi 12 with four included screws. It can then be mounted to any hex-rod drum mount; specifically, the PS940 Percussion Stand (sold separately) which was designed for use with the MAT-1 and DTX-Multi 12.

If you want to use the DTX live, you need this. But (cost sign) seems steep for something so simple. That's 10% of the cost of the unit. Luckily, I had an extra stand and tom holder so I didn't have spend the extra $100+ on that. That said, the bracket is very high quality. I think they could have offered one that kind of sucked but did the job for less (cost sign) (MF made me not list a specific price) and people would be happy with it.
