I had a fender passport system but decided to replace it with this new unit from yamaha as it has direct ipod connectivity and most importantly a feedback suppression button. It produces amazing sound from those small speakers. Clean sound with good base response. However, I tried feedback suppression button with not much luck at home. The mic still feedbacks. It may be limited with the frequecy filters it has. However, I noticed that feedback is lot less than the fender unit. Overall I am very happy about this upgrade. It sounds much better than fender passport 300 in my opinion. And it is small, easy to carry too.
Yamaha STAGEPAS 400I 400W Portable PA System
.I have been looking for a good sound system for my Roland V drums that produce actuate sound. I have tried drum monitors that many people give good reviews but they don't satisfy me at all. After much research it was recommended to me to buy a a PA system. This seemed like a good deal for the money and I like the brand. Right out of the box it's super easy to use. The iPod hookup is great. This thing is doubles as a home stereo system. Turned up to just level 1 the sound easily fills my 300 square foot drum room and at 2 it fills the 600 square foot finished area of my basement. The drums along with the music from my iPod play perfectly together with the two speakers handling the sound perfectly. Really nice setup.

.While simple to use and a good sound, the board went after 2 years of very limited use. Company said not worth fixing. Very frustrated with it.

.Easy to set up and the sound is pretty good.

.The product is great. I won't buy from MF again. They probably won't post this anyway.
Yamaha STAGEPAS 400I 400W Portable PA System
.This is a great little system! I would highly recommend, if you are in need of something portable, to use in small rooms, or even outdoor events, such as fall festivals. The reverb feature in nice. I personally think the sound is very clean, not too much bass.
Yamaha STAGEPAS 400I 400W Portable PA System

.I am using this as live sound for my garage band space in my basement. Great little system with plenty of power and awesome features.
Yamaha STAGEPAS 400I 400W Portable PA System
.This has been a great investment. Right now I'm using it in small and medium venues with solo and duo acoustic guitar gigs, and plan to add a sub eventually to round the system out. It really sounds good!
Yamaha STAGEPAS 400I 400W Portable PA System
.This thing has me selling out all my other speakers. Amazing on gigs. Clean and smooth sound. And easy setup within minutes for a gig. And it really projects. The only thing I have against it is that the Feedback suppressor makes a growling sound when engaged. I don't bother to use it anyhow I just eq properly and let her rip.
