Washburn M3SW F style Manolin. Great tone and volume. Looks and feels good. As with any mando from the factory, it will need some set-up. I did the neck and bridge myself. Nut was OK. If this is beyond your abilities, take it to a luthier before trying to seriously play it. Also changed strings immediately. My preference is Cleartone strings. I've had it a nearly 3 years & will need some fret work soon just from normal use. Plan to swap the tuners for a set of good Grovers. Better tuners would have boosted the rating. A joy to play.
Mine has a solid Allen tailpiece which is an upgrade for better tone.
Tuners are usable but cheap and rough.
Overall a true and solid instrument. Cheap tuners.
Great for the price.
Washburn M3SW F-Style Mandolin w/case Sunburst
.This is a quality mandolin, made with carved spruce top and book matched maple sides and back. It doesn't get better than that! The headstock has beautiful binding and the neck has snowflake inlays. The finish is flawless and has a certain elegant hue. Comes with a monteleon tailpiece, which is considered an upgrade and a fantastic custom case. I had to spend about an hour setting it up, adjusting the action, intonation and putting on new strings. Has beautiful tone. I am very happy with this mandolin.

.Everything about the mando is great except for the tailpiece cover. Tha brass cover is continually falling off. I have contacted Washburn and they said I need to bend it a little more. Still doesn't stay on. Washburn needs to come out with a free fix for these poorly designed tailpiece covers.

.It was Outstanding right out of the box. It?s a Great little player lots of fun. No defects. And I looked hard to find one as I'm sure we all do. It is a real nice case. Overall a superb value! I think Washburn builds a "quality" instrument.
Washburn M3SW F-Style Mandolin w/case Sunburst
.I wanted a mandolin that wasn't a beginners quality, but since my main instrument is a guitar, I didn't want to spend a fortune for a top quality instrument. This mandolin is quite nice and does a good job as far as sound and structural quality I would recommend this.
