The Godin EPM Quantum I acoustic guitar system is simple in design and outstanding in performance. In combination with the transducer, the EQ control range and frequency content have been specifically contoured to provide a very rich and full sound reproduction resulting in performance seen only in far more complex systems.

The Godin Q1 also includes a built-in high quality digital chromatic tuner with LED display. Case sold separately.

Operating Suggestions
Before plugging in for the first time, adjust Quantum volume to minimum (fully counterclockwise) and set bass and treble at midrange. Plug into endpin jack and amplifier. Increase volume slowly to desired level. Adjust bass and treble to desired level.

I tried this one out when it first came out about a year ago and fell in love with it, it's a very beautiful guitar. Seagull doesn't skimp on the woods that they use to make their guitars.The set-up on this guitar was perfect right out of the box. I love the tone of the solid spruce top. The electronics on it sound o.k. I would have liked it better without the electronics and just used my own instead, I like the sound of my woody better. This guitar, like my other Seagull(I own an S6 slim cedar top),is very easy to play. When it gets a little age, it will only get better. I love it!

.Beautiful wood. Great sound. Wish the neck was a little longer. However, when shipped, they lost the case... Hmmmm... I called, and they are trying to locate it. Hopefully they do.

.Who needs a Martin or Chaylor! I tried all of them in this price range before my purchase and I could not justify the cost difference at all. In fact, the Martins and Chaylors in this price range sound nice, but they still feel like pricey entry level guitars by their use of laminate plastics and basic tone woods & minimalistic construction / finishes. Do not get me wrong, they are nice for entry level guitars, but they look like just that - pricey entry level guitars.

It's like buying a Lexus or a Roll-Royce - when you reach a certain level, your just paying for a name and not really receiving anything more for the added cost - except maybe for bragging rights.

With the Seagull brand, I feel like I am getting so much more for my money . They actually feel "crafted" - not just manufactured and what's really amazing is that they are crafted here in North America - Canada at that! - where wages are not cheap.

I do not know how they do it, but I just hope they keep doing it.
