The Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Solo-II Electric Guitar is fully-equipped and ready to raise some you-know-what. It comes with a mahogany body and set 3-piece mahogany neck. The rosewood fretboard is smooth with 24 extra-jumbo frets and a compound radius for rapid play all along the neck. EMG pickups produce plenty of tone control and raw power. Black chrome hardware and a TonePros tune-o-matic bridge complete the list of appointments. Case sold separately.
Schecter locking tuners
Schecter Locking Tuners feature a locking screw pin to lock the string into place for greater tuning stability. Details include a 19:1 gear ratio allowing for precise fine tuning adjustments, removable knobs, threaded peghead bushing, and a 10mm diameter peg hole.
3-pc mahogany neck
Made with 3 pieces of mahogany for extra stability. 3 piece necks can withstand the test of time. Where standard necks may show aging defects from temperature and moisture changes throughout the years, the 3 piece neck will stay nice and straight for a lifetime of playability.

I have this guitar for half a year. It looks superb. While seating it feels perfect in hands. Almost everything is right about it, the neck is not too wide or thin, its comfortable, the pickups are good, has Schecter locking tuners, which I liked as they worked very well. I don't use the coil splits, but its there too. I practiced with it for several months and finally ended up picking up my PRS SE singlecut more and more. I wanted a 24 fret guitar, but despite have this superb quality 24 fret Schecter, I felt that its too heavy while standing. Its an over 9lbs guitar and I am not a small guy. For those looking for a thick body, 24 frets and active EMG humbuckers (some ppl don't like em) and are ready to feel the weight, its very good, but I was looking for a lighter guitar. If it had 8 lbs I wouldn't sell it for anything in the world, it feels that high quality. I would recommend it to a friend, but with the warning about weight.

.I was looking for a singlecut guitar, but I wanted a 25.5" scale and a neck joint that doesn't get in my way. I could compromise on scale length, but not the neck joint. The are only a couple other contenders and this one won out for me. I replaced the pickups almost immediately since I am not an EMG 85/81 fan, but I took that into consideration before I bought.
Bottom line is that it looks great, plays great, and is solid without being crazy heavy. The hardware is good (tonepros bridge and tail piece) and the tuners are locking and operate smoothly.
