This W Series version of the world's most popular 12-string electric guitar offers the same deluxe features of its Model 360 cousin, now with the strength and character of walnut. This fresh spin on a classic comes with a maple fingerboard and has a natural polished oil finish. A standard for recording for more than thirty years, its haunting, melodic chorus has continued to benefit from evolution. The slimmed and re-contoured neck now makes the 360/12 easier to play than ever. Includes case.

Guitar arrived in just over 2 days. I would prefer to wait a day or two longer so some atten-
tion could be given to the set up of the guitar.
I understand everyone does not want the action the same, however this Rickenbacker was next to
impossible to play out of the case. The action was two 25 cent pieces high at the 12th fret. Barre cords were impossible to make. Bridge height was also way too high. Intonation was good
but no attention could have been given to the over
all set-up. The workmanship on the guitar itself
was flawless. The sound is vintage Byrds. The case is rugged and made well with latches that are
mated perfectly. I think for the price though,
a truss rod wrench should be included in the price
since a set-up seems to be the responsibility of
the customer. Either include a wrench or give the
purchaser a rebate upon having his Rickenbacker set up by a competent luthier at a tune of about
a hundred skins or more. I would cautiously recommend this to a friend.
Rickenbacker 360/12W Natural Walnut
.My only problem with this guitar is really not the guitar but my aging hand. The neck has been trimmed for easier play but these old hands can't seem to make a clean C chord because the neck at the top is so narrow. Ten years ago this would have been a plus. When I capo up two frets I have no problem making that C position (now D). I've wanted a Ric 12 string for 30 years of more but was never really in love with the appearance of the guitar .Now, this natural walnut version gives me both the extraordinarily beautiful tones and a really beautiful looking instrument

Paid extra for walnut finish and glad I did. Tuning gear set up takes a little getting used to, but not a big deal. Sound great. Very pleased.
