Based on patented, fourth-generation technology, Relay is leading the digital wireless revolution for guitarists. The Relay G55 system delivers tour-grade digital wireless in a compact, half-rack format-so you can experience wireless freedom without compromising your tone.
Featuring 12 channels of compander-free 24-bit audio, full 10Hz-20kHz frequency response and a wide dynamic range of 117dB (A weighted), the G55 signal is so pure and strong it sounds just like a wired guitar.
Traditional analog wireless systems are plagued by interference from TV broadcasts, white space devices and countless other sources. Relay G55 operates in the 2.4GHz ISM band, so there's no danger of these external sources wreaking havoc with your audio signal. Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with the most advanced, reliable digital wireless solution available.
Line 6 digital wireless systems also use proprietary technologies to prevent audio interference from other 2.4GHz devices. Encoded DCL (Digital Channel Lock) technology distinguishes your Relay G55 audio from other third-party signals, including Wi-Fi, ensuring the integrity of your signal.
If you're confused by the license fees required to operate an analog wireless system, don't worry-Line 6 digital wireless systems eliminate that need. Relay G55 is fully FCC compliant and operates license free worldwide, from Hollywood to Tokyo.
Since its debut, Line 6 digital wireless technology has racked up awards and proven that it offers superior audio quality and reliability compared to analog wireless technology. Now in its fourth generation, Line 6 digital wireless technology is the most mature in the market and continues to set standards in simplicity and performance.
Using conventional guitar cables can be limiting, to be sure-but they do add an undeniable character to your tone. Selectable Cable Tone technology simulates the subtle frequency roll-off of a standard 25-foot cable, so you can enjoy the sound of a wired guitar-with the freedom of wireless.
Like all Line 6 digital wireless systems, Relay G55 is incredibly easy to set up. Simply pick any of the 12 available channels and the transmitter and receiver lock together instantly.
Whether you're ten feet or 300 feet away from the receiver, Relay digital wireless systems deliver the same, consistent, dependable signal quality. Unlike using analog wireless systems, there's no increased risk of interference or signal degradation as you move further from the receiver. You can perform with full confidence, right up to the range limits of your Relay G55 system.
Relay G55 transmitter and receiver units provide clear displays of essential system information. The bodypack transmitter features a clear LCD screen for selecting channels and provides an instant check on your battery level. The receiver offers bright five-segment LEDs that let you monitor RF strength, battery status and audio levels.
Relay G55 is built for rock-solid performance night after night. Featuring a robust metal body, the bodypack transmitter is rugged, reliable and ready for the road. The receiver is housed in a solid aluminum chassis and fits easily on top of an amplifier, while the optional rack mount kit makes it easy to adapt Relay G55 to any professional installation.

I am a working bass player, using both upright and electric bass, i just last week marched in a parade using this wirless system. It handle perfectly, there were tons of signals and radios etc. that could have effected the signal, but it preformed like a champ. If you are worried that this will sound airy unlike your vintage cords. Don't worry because there is a cord tone button, that sounds amazing if you're looking for the tone with more range.

.I was hoping for solid performance. The sound is superb. No dropouts. THANK GOODNESS. Bonus on the cable "selector" button.
Ease of use of course is tops. Absolutely recommend if in the market for a reliable, easy-to-use wireless.
Line 6 Relay G55 Digital Wireless Guitar System
.I have used other systems in the past and always go back to a cable. They either drop in and out, or I can hear a difference in tone. Most of the previous ones used too much plastic.
This wireless is a game changer. the transmitter is metal and I feel like it will outlive my guitar, abuse wise. The tone is awesome. It's actually brighter than a 20 foot cable to my ears. I use it with the cable simulator on to actually roll off a bit of the regained high end. There are visual cues letting you know how strong you signal is and if there is any possible interference.
Anyone who tells you they hear tone suck with this unit is crazy. If anything, it regains lost tone if you are used to playing on bigger stages and use long cables.
Line 6 Relay G55 Digital Wireless Guitar System
.I've been used it for 1 year now. I highly recommended this or G50 for a every-night-stadium-guitarist. It work exactly as what describe in the website!
First, it's a compact product, design to work perfectly with guitarist who play at large stage, everynight. Yes, everynight, it's digital! You can walk around the stage without signal drop out, but check your interpherence bar on receiver first! (red bar when transmitter is off), you have 12 channel to change.
Battery is 8hours long. I use one for about 5 show before charge it, even soundcheck! (i use Eneloop)
Sound is so new so me, because it's brighter then a 5m or 3m Planet Wave cable, press cable tone button if you want it back. And receiver have an XLR out+ 1/4", so it's like a DI (and sound like one).
No gain control, you get your original tone.
Unbreakble antenna on transmitter, though you can get external one, but i recommend the old one.
No heat sign after 1hour show.
If you play everynight, or everyweek. Yes, this one is Perfect for the price!
Get an extra cable if you want to use it for life time. And wireless pouch if you don't want to drop it occassionally.

.Buying this unit was long over do. I always wanted to get a nice wireless system that was easy to use but was always hesitant to spend the money. This thing is worth every dime i spent on it
Line 6 Relay G55 Digital Wireless Guitar System
.Got it today so these are just my first impressions here. But what an impression! Easy to setup! And sounds better I think than the monster gold I've been using for years. I walked upstairs in my home from my basement jam space and it never dropped out or lost any quality of sound. It's great to not be tethered to my board anymore! I highly recommend it!
