This guitar case is pretty simple, an average gig bag. My Squire Strat fit in very snugly top to bottom, which is good to keep it from moving arouind, but makes me wonder if some guitars might be just a tad too long. The front pocket was also a little too small for my liking, but I was trying to cram quite a lot in there. It works fine, far as I can tell.

Bag does not fit a Jazz Master (the guitar is to long bay 1" or so).

It has a just a moderate amount of padding and was not designed for harsh handling.
The gig bag is a great value, and as long as you use it just for lightweight protection it will do what it was designed to do.

.I bought this because Custom Guitar's Friend never sent me the gig bag they promised that was missing from my blemished Telecaster. This is even cheaper that the gig bag Fender supplies with new guitars. It has less padding and no storage. Pay a little more for something better.

.I buy guitars often and many come with no case. This Fender case is a budget item, good only for keeping guitars dust free at home. I would not take them to a gig (pocket too snug, barely fits a strat or tele). One cool thing: the zipper pulls are metallic guitar picks!

.If your going to keep it in the closet, this is ok. and if you got it for free. otherwise keep looking. it will keep the dust off and possibly stop a few dings but not the best and there are others out there.
