The pictures do not show the inside, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is molded to fit the bass body. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I was disappointed with the case. I thought it was a Fender case. Well Now one finds this case is made in Vietnam, they didn't tell me that up front. all the corners all the latches all the hinges all the little feet have Philips screws instead of the rivets. screws loosens and can scratch wood floors and snag rugs. for 20.00 more I BOUGHT THE FENDER G.G. CASE. no more screws that just spun and didn't really tighten up solid. not very impressed with the latches even on the GG. hope they last they just feel weak or lame when locking or snapping open. not like the old one. I am a guitar player with 8 GG cases for my other Clapton strats and relics so for the bass it won't go out f the house too much but I will still open and close it here and hope it lasts. the bass fits perfectly in both of those cases. Fender must be making a killing on the Vietnam cases only 20.00 less but the cost must be cheap in Vietnam. Shame on Fender for this one..

.There is a little space where the tips of the body go. The Aerodyne is kind of rounded where other models of bass guitar may have pointed tips. So I think other Fender Bass model would fit this case. This case seems to be quite similar to what came with the Am Strat that I also have. To me, the case is not really meant for the abuse of the road, but looks nice and gives your bass a safe place to be stored.

.I bought this case for a Fender Aerodyne Bass that is a P/J hybrid. I was unable to find any cases that secured the bass well enough for me to feel confident.

The Fender Pro case is awesome. There is an extra large accessories area that pretty much holds all my gear that I use live. I am able to fit 3 FX pedals, 9V FX pedal power supplies, two 20' bass cables, a strap, an emergency pack of strings, and a couple of jumper cables for the pedals.
