Not much to say here. I bought this Strat months ago after I tried four (yes four) EVH Wolfgang Standards MF sent me that were horrible. When I played this Strat I knew it was a quality guitar. Fit and finish is excellent, one slightly high 12th fret that is not a big deal at all, I have the action slightly higher than 4/64th from low E to high E and there's no buzzing. Once I found the sweet spot for the relief and action I was set. The pickups sound great, I'm keeping them in the guitar. Also, I know how set up a Strat tremolo so it stays in tune. Look up the Carl Verheyen tremolo setup video on Youtube, yes his method works, it's not smoke and mirrors. Also adding some lubrication to the nut slots helps as well.
All in all a well made guitar that will be a permanent addition to my lineup. By the way it looks better in person, the top is beautiful.

.solid construction, top notch quality contol, skilled craftsmen, timeless design. all equals a five star product.please do not waste your time with knock offs. some fender locking tuners, usa string trees and a graph tech nut and you pretty much have as good as it gets.(maybe a change of saddles but it changes sound a bit too much for me) single coils give you the strat sound, 3 positions hum cancel thanks to the humbucker at the bridge.they changed back to full sized metal bridge block on this one, which limits trem travel. if your a complete metal head this might not do it for you, if you play everything from bach to chet to rammstein like I do ,its got enough to satisfy. i like flamey bright color, its a bit on the dark side.so what. for price to quality, boat loads of modifying and maintainance possibilities because its a design thats been around 50 + years, teamed with musicians friend best customer service in the industry. one of the only 4 guitars you need fender gibson gretsch rickenbacker.. but thats just my opinion

.this is an addendum to a previous writing. I find a very simple cut on the solid block would not impead the total sound quality and trem arm travel would be greatly increased. still,not a big deal. I find the finish is easy to mar,again not a deal breaker.stays in tune and sounds great!bought a tusk nut,but it does not need it.neck and body wood has a nice grain look to it .nothing needed to be changed except to locking tuners,even that was not 100 percent needed. alloy on frets different than usual,hopefully its better material than previous years. finish on fretboard a good idea if your guit has to go into different enviroments I.E too dry!,will resist shrinkage and thus reducing fret wreckage! a sturdy classic all around with a few modern appointments
