I bought this for learning the lap steel, and wanted something that could fit my hands,(they are small) and I couldn't be more pleased with the feel and weight of this slide. The shape is easy to grip, and doesn't tire your hand out when practicing. Any one can benefit with the purchase of this item!

.I am just starting on lap slide, and I am glad to have economical slide to start learning. Left off one star because the slide is chrome plated brass, and I would have preferred it to be made of all stainless steel (as advertised), so the chrome wouldn't chip if I drop it, but if the chrome never chips I will coninue to be happy with it.

.Most of the time the 925 bar is advertised as a stainless steel tone bar. It is chrome plated brass. Check it out with Dunlop. I don't know why it is sold as a stainless steel bar by most vendors. I just want Custom Guitar's friend to get credit for correctly stating it is chrome plated brass.
That aside, it is a comfortable and economical slide, just don't drop it on a hard surface, or it may chip.
