Some string buzz, raised the action by loosening the truss rod now plays great with no buzz. Put some Elixar Lights on it also, sounds great. Not much sustain, but that's comparing it to my Martin D-18, apples and oranges.... The finish looks awesome and I am a huge fan of the satin neck, very slick and fast playing, not sticky at all like some high gloss finished guitar necks. I'm very pleased with the purchase and would buy another one without a doubt. Try it, you can always send it back but I doubt you'll need to.

.All I did was change the strings using Martin SP Lifespan 10's and this thing sounds AWESOME! Stays in tune, great action! I own older Taylors and this Epi hangs right in there. For the money i's a no brainer. Great guitar!

.I bought this guitar 3 days ago and I'm amazed at the quality vs the price. The fit and finish are excellent. The body has beautiful binding and the sunburst finish is flawless. The neck is satin and super slick, and the fret edges are very smooth. Even the bridge pins fit perfectly. The action is low out of the box and needs no further adjustment. And I can't get over the tone quality. Very punchy with deep rich bass and lots of volume and sustain. I'm very pleased with this guitar and would recommend it to beginners as well as advanced players. EE-Epiphone-e had a winner here.

.This is the one of the beat guitars you will ever get at this price range. It's got great action, superb sound, stays in tune, and looks killer. This guitar sounds better than most guitars I have played with that cost double or triple. It is extremely fun to play, and has actually made me a better musician. It looks to be very well constructed, and I have found no cons with this instrument as of yet. And for the price, I won't feel guilty beating it up. I am very happy with this purchase, and definitely recommend this axe.

.I went out to my local guitar shop, as I usually do at least once a week. I rarely buy anything, I just jam out on their guitars and see if there is anything I might want in the future. I picked this one up and knew right away that it was a great guitar. I bought it on the spot. Everything about this guitar is perfect. The tone is fantastic, it has a great overall sound, and is built extremely well. I have six guitars, this one being my best, and four of my other ones cost more than this. This guitar is a great deal, snatch it up when you get the chance, you won't regret it!

Beautiful,great sounding, and dirt cheap the perfect combination for me. This is my everyday guitar to help save some wear on my higher end vintage guitars.

.I own MANY guitars and for what I paid for 2 of these, one natural and one vintage burst, I'm still in shock.They play and sound wonderful.
Not quite 50 year old Martins (and most can't tell the difference) and equal to or better in sound than any Gibson, or Taylor at 10 times the price. But also no where near the cost or worry about using them on a job.
The bass response is huge and the high end rings out beautifully and it's incredibly easy to play.(action)
I've gotten nothing but compliments from every one. As with any guitar only the test of time will tell how the construction will hold out. I've had one for nearly 2 years and it is fine. But as far as being cost effective, how can you go wrong.
Being a Gibson and Martin player for over 50 years, I swore never to buy an import, but after trying one of these out I was won over, and saved a lot of money.
