The 30T is the first of Cordoba's 30 Series, a premium line of boutique, all-solid tenor ukuleles approached from a classical or Spanish guitar building perspective. Most notably, Cordoba is using an integrated neckjoint or "Spanish Heel" instead of a traditional dovetail joint to join the body and neck of the ukulele. This method of construction offers a lighter weight and more stable heel joint that increases resonance and is less prone to movement as the ukulele ages. Cordoba collaborated with renowned luthier Pepe Romero Jr. on the 30 series, adopting Romero's vision of building ukuleles as if they are small guitars using traditional Spanish building methods. The result is an incredibly lightweight tenor ukulele with a deeper and wider body, featuring a Spanish heel neckjoint, fan bracing, and a wider fingerboard for easy playability.

The 30T tenor uke features the classic combination of a solid mahogany top, back and sides, giving it a warm and balanced sound and extremely lightweight. It also has a beautiful rosewood bridge, binding, and fingerboard. The styling is refined and sleek, using abalone for the inlaid rosette and rosewood for the binding, capped off with Cordoba's signature elevated headstock with a figured acacia overlay. The finish is a hand-rubbed polyurethane, applied as thin as possible for maximum resonance. Other features include a black TUSQ nut and saddle, chrome Grover tuners, Aquila Nylgut strings, and a Cordoba polyfoam case.

This is an excellent all solid wood ukulele. I was lucky to buy an open box and then get an additional 10% off The ukulele is beautiful. Inlaid Abalone is stunning. The mahogany and gloss finish are impeccable. Tuners are very nice as well. The ukulele has a subtle beauty to it. Any guitar players will understand the benefit of solid wood construction as well. My only con is that it connects at the 12th fret when I would prefer the 14th but I am not in the upper register often. All together it feels very light weight but extremely solid. The frets could be more polished but overall craftsmanship is amazing and the ukulele has great sustain. Plays best around the 14th fret for strumming. Buy it, you will not regret it!a great Uke for former guitar players with the slighter wider fret spacing!

Wanted a Tenor size ukulele, I owned a Kamaka but sold it due to lack of use years ago. Now I am retired an have plenty of time to practice and fool around. This Uke is a joy to play, excellent tone, sounds better than majority of the Ukuleles I tried and I like that the fret board is a little wider than normal gives me some finger room. Overall really pleased and this thing gets played daily. For the money hard to beat most of the Ukuleles are over priced and don't sound that great. This one sounds great and won't break the bank.

.Great ukulele out of the box. Received it as a gift and am thoroughly enjoying every minute of it. It comes with quality Aquila strings and feels great to play. It has a nice strong sound with great tone that is great for miking and performing or just to play at home. It definitely feels very solid and you can tell the craftsmanship from Cordoba is there. The case is also high quality and feels sturdy while being extremely light, I definitely feel like my ukulele is protected. I highly recommend this ukulele for anyone looking to take the next step and purchase a much higher quality ukulele than the intro soprano ones.
