Conceived as a starter guitar for kids, the lovable Baby has maintained its enduring appeal in part by being a legitimate musical instrument that anyone can enjoy. The three-quarter-size Dreadnought helped touring musicians like Swift sketch new musical ideas on the road, and it's been a reliable musical accomplice for travelers seeking inspiration while trekking the world. All Baby models ship with a durable travel-worthy gig bag made by for optimal fit and protection.
Tone Woods
A guitar's top is the primary filter and distributor of vibrating string energy through the guitar, which means it has a huge impact on its sound. Mahogany is a hardwood that produces a natural compression, yielding more "roll-in" effect to a note. The compression evens out a lively attack for a more linear response. Mahogany tops deliver strong fundamentals with clear and direct focus. The arched back of the guitar generates more sound from a small-bodied instrument, and using layered wood back and sides create a sturdy yet receptive platform for the vibrating string energy sent by the guitar's top. Layered wood is less susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity, making it an excellent choice for players who travel with their instruments or simply require more durability.
Electronics
Both the Baby and the Big Baby are available with the Expression System Baby (ES-B) pickup, which incorporates piezo design elements from the flagship ES2 system. It's powered by an onboard preamp that includes a built-in digital chromatic tuner, an LED display for tuning and low battery indication, and Tone and Volume controls. The preamp/tuner is powered by two button cell 3v lithium (CR2032) batteries. Two new batteries will provide approximately 300 hours of use. The ES-B conserves battery life using a standard on/off system that will automatically turn off if left on over 3 minutes. A low battery indicator on the LED display (located on the preamp circuit board) will display an “L” when the battery reaches 4.5 volts.
What sets Guitars apart? Unmatched build quality, the most stable and playable necks, a vast array of tonal options, eco-conscious and ethically-sourced raw materials, and a lifetime of service and support.

I got acoustic electric baby Chaylor. Even though the size is small, it has a very good sound acoustic guitar. . Perfect for beginners and travel. I use it for practice a lot since it is so light compared to little martin. Right out of the box, I tuned it a little bit, and It stayed in tune. I just replaced the strings with nanoweb elixir extra light because I have small fingers, I think the sound changes a little bit - in my opinion it sounds better. When I connected to the amplifier, wow, the sounds is even better.... The electric tuner is great. I have a little martin LX1E, I think this baby Chaylor mahagony sounds a bit better than my little martin.

.I play it through a Roland street cube amp and I play outdoors at party's and get-togethers and everyone comments on how good it sounds!

.Love this thing. It's TINY.... easy to tote around.... sounds great considering it's size.
Played through my AER 30 Combo amp... sounds as good as my 'big boy' guitars IMO.

.great present!
Chaylor Baby Chaylor Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural
.This is exactly what I need while I'm away from home and traveling a lot more lately for non-music things. I haven't had much time to play, and have a hard time bringing full size guitars everywhere... this is going to be a great addition to my collection and will likely now get played the most! It sounds great. It feels great. Takes some getting used to the smaller fret board, but nothing dramatic. Might have to tune it a but more than other guitars, but again, nothing insane. If you play with capos very high up this one could be tricky.. but all in all, it's a great guitar for a great price considering what you get.

.I first ordered the Martin Mini. I was very disappointed with the HPL (high pressure laminate) as it had a very plastic feel. Custom Guitar's Friend switched it for the Baby Chaylor without hassle. I will thrilled with the Baby Chaylor. None of that HPL that Martin is using but actual quality wooden parts. For a bit of extra style I replaced the plastic pin with Chaylor wooden abalone pins and added a Chaylor pick guard. It now looks very high end! Sound is Great and it is very sturdy! Gig bag is a plus, though I also ordered a hard case for travel! I think you will be happy with this guitar! It was just what I was looking for!
