I hope too many reviews about how great this is for the price don't end up hiking it, but it has to be said. I purchased one of these a while back as my wife was expressing interest in learning, and I wanted her to learn on nylon strings, just not on MY classical. I've got to be honest, I'm blown away. Does my guitar sound richer, deeper and better? Yes, but it cost more than 10x as much as this and the difference is nowhere near 10x better. A remarkable value. A can say little else. Plays like a dream, sounds like a much more expensive guitar, cutaway and built-in tuner to boot. Winner.

.I bought this guitar expecting just something cheap and playable. What I got was ten times better than what I expected. Excellent craftmanship and good sound. I replaced the plastic nut and saddle with buffalo bone and that's when my socks got knocked off. It went from sounding good to a very strong pronounced toneful guitar. With two little inexpensive part changes this is now my favorite acoustic guitar. Not to mention excellent electronics. Couldn't be happier with performance or price.

.The tuners are horrible, they tend to allow the guitar to untune itself, and while this is somewhat common, it happens very frequent with this guitar. The pickup sounds nice and bright, I play flamenco and I am happy with this, if you are looking for deep tone this is not your instrument. The fretting is a little cheap and the action is too high for my taste, but this makes a wonderful addition to my office for light practice. It is smooth and fluid to play, but only after the factory strings are replaced. Great intro guitar for those intrested in classical stylings.

.Keep in mind that this is a very low cost instrument. It is attractive, and assembled well and finished adequately. Neck is true. Frets are good enough. Good tone unplugged. The B-Band piezo and preamp are great (really). Low feedback.Problems: A. Loose cables inside that moved and were picked up by the piezo. C. Nut and bridge a bit too high.D. The tuners stick in the headstock. High action took it out of tune. Overall tuning was off up to 5 Hz w/respect to open strings. That doesn't sound good. These problems aren't unusual. Any guitar you buy will need a setup. Buy it. Take it to a luthier. If he can't dial it in, just send it back. I did the work myself. The result is good for amplified use. Glad I bought it.

.So I was looking to get the Ibanez GA35TCE or This Washburn classical guitar. Acoustically both guitars are nice except that the Ibanez was a bit flat from G-E nylon strings. It also had a buzz in the bridge that I did not like however the electrics of the Ibanez were flawless, clean and no hum or hiss.
Now the Wshburn, the guitar is a beautiful guitar, nice finish and well made. Acoustically the tone is clearer and more balanced throughout all 6 strings compared to the Ibanez. The ibanez probaby could do with better quality strings to fix the flat sound issue. The Washburn has very good sustain and resonance such that at times other strings start resonating and dirtying the sound - especially when playing solo sections. This may be fixed with a new set of higher end strings which I will chnage after I use the ones that came with it or changing the bridge and nut to graphtech. Maybe I'll switch in the future.
The electrics are ok. The electric pickup reporoduced the guitar sound pretty well except that there is a lot of Hiss with the BBand system. The pickup has treble, mid and bass EQ plus a presence knob where you can mold the tone as youplease. It also has a built in tuner that work well.
So I sent back the Ibanez and kept the Washburn. The tonal character was much better. If the ibanez goes as a SDOTD sale dirt cheap I will pick it up just because of the cleaner pickup system.

.Guitar is playable and in good shape except for what I stated above. My teacher also purchased the same guitar from you a few years ago and likes the way it plays.
Features are good.
Strings were of poor quality had to be replaced to produce proper sound. Chip on back of guitar"s varnish was chipped off, the size of dime and it had to be repaired.
Good value for this guitar.
