I recently picked up my own S6 and it's a gem. The tones this guitar puts out are gorgeous for such a relatively inexpensive guitar. The neck is smooth, the tuning heads are solid, and the pictures don't do the beauty of the mahogany justice.

My only real problems are nitpicks at best. The action was a little high right out of the box, but a couple minutes of sanding made that a nonissue. If you know what you're doing you'll be fine. The other thing is the body is a little on the large side; you have to reach over the end a bit. Not really a problem for me as I'm on the taller side, but if you have a smaller build you may have trouble getting used to it. My wife seemed to find it a little awkward and she's 5'7".

In the end, it's a great guitar for a good price. If you find one on sale, like I did, don't even think about passing it up.

.I had invested in another guitar just before this one and sold it at a loss. It was one of those new from namm car part acusticics. Way over priced and not too good. It sure did look pretty though. ha ha. I'm familiar with the gull but never spent any real time with one. It has its own unique feel but not a bad thing .They all do. I have to say that if it feels right to you I would highly recommend this guitar. Any gull for that matter. And for the money I don't think a better guitar can be had , new of course. Mine just arrived a few hours ago and once I change out the strings it will be awesome. The set up is perfect, tuners a bit stiff but they do they're job fine. Finish is as it should be. Optional pickgaurd included. Which is great for I have no love for pickgards. I don't know why all guitars don't arrive like that . The sound is as rich and defined as many other high priced guitars. Hey, and it comes from our friends in Canada, buddy. Not from an overseas sweat shop, pal.... Which is an even better reason to check out a gull first, friend.
