Product description
This PRS S2 Standard 24 has a classy Sienna paint job. The finish is composed of a polyester basecoat and a thinner acrylic topcoat for optimal tone. Indeed, we are excited to see how these guitars age over the years as we're sure they will mature very nicely with time. The mahogany neck features a Pattern Regular profile which stems back to the "Regular" shape PRS offered in the late 1980's. It's worth noting that these neck profiles have become very desirable among PRS collectors in recent years. The rosewood fretboard features dot inlays, 24 frets and a 25" scale length. The pickups - an S2 HFS in the bridge and an S2 Vintage Bass in the neck - are wired to a 3 way blade switch, a master volume knob and a master tone control that doubles as a push/pull coil tap. Other features include a PRS S2 Tremolo bridge, S2 locking tuners, nickel hardware, a "Standard" truss rod cover and a PRS S2 series gig bag. Manufactured in the US, the S2's are offered at an affordable price point. This line of guitars uses some of the very same components found on PRS's most expensive models, and they're all put together with that exacting precision that defines high-end PRS guitars.
