Shred in comfort and style with the innovative Jackson Pro Soloist SL2Q MAH, the final word in high-tech guitar design. A high performance evolution of the electric guitar, this instrument opens up new horizons of playability, resetting the bar of what's possible in guitar design. Unlock your full potential as a player and realize your musical dreams.
The 12-16 compound radius fingerboard is designed for highly technical lightspeed playing. More curved by the nut for comfortable chording, it flattens out as you move up the speedy neck for increasingly fast playing speed and wide bends without fretting out. Chosen specifically for their complementary sound, a pair of modern Seymour Duncan pickups drives this guitars versatile sounda crisp JB TB4 humbucking bridge pickup and warm 59 SH1N direct-mount humbucking neck pickup combine for highly balanced, flexible tone, with plenty of high output for pristine cleans and snarling distortion.
Master volume and tone controls shape the pickups output, which can be further refined with the three-position pickup toggle switch for the precise voice required to bring your musical vision to life. Dive and soar expressively with the Floyd Rose FRT-O2000 double-locking tremolo bridge, recessed for pick hand comfort and providing laser-accurate intonation and ultra-stable tuning when combined with the Floyd Rose R3 locking nut. The ergonomic Soloist body shape is designed for player comfort and increased balance, eliminating the dread neck dive that has brought many a headstock to a sad, untimely end.
The Lamborghini of guitars, Jackson has a proud history of creating instruments that are as easy on an audiences eyes are they are to the player's fingers and ears. All the famous Jackson appointments are here: all-black hardware, a durable gloss finish, alumiloid piranha neck inlays, single ply neck binding and Jacksons signature pointed 6-In-Line headstock exhibit bold taste. Not for the faint of heart, the Pro Soloist SL2Q MAH is ideal for pro-level players who demand the ultimate in high performance guitars

I used to own a Jackson Dinky DK2M a few years ago and had to get rid of it when I moved to the keys. I wanted my rig back, so I searched for a Jackson Dinky (Soloist were always just a dream) and I was comparing models when I found this soloist. I mean, it was only a c-note more than the Dinky. It has nastier pickups, neck through, a real Floyd Rose and not a Floyd Rose Licensed trem. So I took a shot and ordered it. My fretting hand instantly recalled all the muscle memory from its predecessor and in moments I was playing clear and fast with the action set low right out the box. It is a lead speed machine, but what about other genre's? I set my amp up for some Blues and she sang like an angel and screamed at the Devil. This has tones comparable to a heavier denser body styles like a Les. She also allowed me to slow down and play with soul. I own this guitar and I would buy a couple of extra for different tunings and set ups if I had a few extra grand lying around. I put it through a Whammy/DT pedal and it lets me shift my tonal properties. Buy this over the Dinky, its barely costing more and 3x the guitar
