These strings are very good. There not overly harsh or bright sounding right out of the pack like most other brands. Also these strings lasted at least 2 months longer than what I used to use.
Fender 70XL 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Strings - Extra Light
. As previously stated these strings are muddy sounding and lifeless. If a dead sound is what you're looking for these are the best. The only advantage to using these strings is that you'd never have to change them because they couldn't sound worse.
Absolutely the worst strings I've ever used. They sound dull and muddy right out of the package. Lifeless is the term that comes to mind.
If you can rate lousy these get a 10!
At any price these are a rip off

.I like it that just like the daddarios these fender strings come in a sealed plastic bag. They sound a bit better when 1st put on the guitar than most other strings do. also the top 2 strings are a lil bit bigger than the usual extra light gage sets. they are a few cents more than what i normaly use, but i think they are deffinately worth it.
the set I got are perfect sounding, a lil bright and metaly sounding right out of the pack, but thats the nature of the beast with new strings. I will definately buy another set of these strings again.
Ive only had these strings on my guitar since last night but they allready sound better than most other sets do when 1st put on.
A lil more expensive than the martins i usually use, but so far well worth it.
