Purchased a set of these Fender bass strings online and was tickled pink when it arrived in the mail a few days later. Installed it immediately on my Fender Jazz Bass and popped the D-string while tuning it for the first time. Decided to call Custom Guitar's Friend to maybe replace the string thinking that it was not under warranty and I probably needed to purchase another one. To my amazement, the agent said it was not a problem and that they would send out a complete new set to me in a few days. I tried to explain that I just needed that one string and I would pay for it but she told me since I had already installed the whole set it would not be necessary to send the old ones back. Well, I just received the replacement set today and I needed to send a high five to Custom Guitar's Friend. Thank you guys!

.I have been around. Without going into how long I can tell you that Fender strings bring it. They best represent the Fender tone you bought the thing for in the first place. I like DR, etc. but as a giging pro hey these are cheaper and get the job done.Play with clean hands and then wipe your strings down after playing and these will last! Be a slob and your done in a month.

.These new strings brought new life to my new Fender jazz bass. They are bright, hold well sustain, but this could be in part of the string thru body setup. If you liked the sound of your instrument at purchase, go with this set of strings.

.These strings came on my Fender Blacktop Jazz. They were a year old still sounded good. Decided to try Fender 9050-M flatwound. But, for me I found the 9050's to deep. Switched back to the 7250's. I can get good clear tone with good deep tones.

.I use these on an Epiphone Thunderbird bass and they make this bird fly. These strings have a rich, full and consistent sound and tone on every string all over the neck. This allows me to play with a dynamic range from soft to loud with fingers, thumb or slap. The strings are semi smooth with minimal string noise. I've experimented with others but keep coming back to Fender.
