There's something undeniably inviting about the GS Mini's scaled-down size, yet a single strum reveals the impressive voice of a full-size guitar. That mix of portability and musicality has proven to be a winning combination that fits into so many scenarios in life, from the couch to the campfire to the concert hall. It's not too big, it's not too precious, and it's not too expensive.
That broad-based accessibility has given it a resounding universal appeal, not to mention a built-in fun factor. The shorter 23-1/2" scale length makes forming chords a breeze yet gives the instrument plenty of snap and tuning stability for a rewarding playing experience. The acoustic-electric versions enjoy a sweet upgrade to ES2 electronics. All GS Mini models include a durable hard bag built by for the optimal fit.
Tonewoods
A guitar's top is the primary filter and distributor of vibrating string energy through the guitar, which means it has a huge impact on its sound. Mahogany is a hardwood that produces a natural compression, yielding more "roll-in" effect to a note. The compression evens out a lively attack for a more linear response. Layered back and sides create a sturdy yet receptive platform for the vibrating string energy sent by the guitar's top. Layered wood is less susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity, making it an excellent choice for players who travel with their instruments or simply require more durability.

For a small, not expensive guitar, it plays sweet, tone is outstanding for its size and cost, comfortable size for so many things, but mostly just sitting around playing. I own 4 guitars, its the one I go to for practice. Disappointed in the electronics however. Some notes sound exceptionally harsh and unbalanced. Would recommend a non electric model, then put in a well known, high rated pickup system.
Chaylor GS Mini Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural
.I've been playing around town where I live more and more lately and it was time for an upgrade from my Yamaha acoustic which was a bit on the brittle side. The GS Mini Mahogany is warm and lush but still has a nice attack as well! It doesn't sound like a "small guitar" AT ALL! As someone who doesn't have huge hands, it's easier to play than full-sized guitars, yet still sounds full-sized! Highly recommend this guitar for anyone who wants a slightly smaller, yet great sounding instrument!
