The Suhr Alt T Pro is a response to customers who asked for an instrument with a classic vintage look, but maintained all the playability enhancements of a modern custom boutique electric guitar. These Pro Series models were designed specifically to preserve the spirit of a true vintage instrument while performing like a contemporary Suhr Guitar. Impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail ensure that every neck pocket is tight, every fret is perfectly dressed, and that each instrument plays its very best.
As part of the Professional Series, these Alt T Pro guitars represent the most popular custom configurations all while maintaining the best possible value. They all feature custom appointments such as: Compound Radius fingerboard, Stainless Steel frets, Suhr locking tuners and Suhr pickups... all without the custom wait time. Each Pro Series guitar is manufactured alongside the custom Suhr guitars in Lake Elsinore, CA using the finest materials, latest technology, skilled master craftsmen, and stringent quality control. There is no quality or other difference between a Pro Series and a Custom Suhr guitar - The only difference is that the options are limited in order to keep production efficient to save time and money.
The Maple / Rosewood neck feels great with an Even C Medium Profile and thanks to Medium Stainless Steel frets and a 9-12" compound radius, the playability is unmatched. Locking Tuners provide increased tuning stability and easier string changing. The Dual Thornbucker pickup configuration with special 5-way switching on this model provides for serous tonal flexibility.
