This guitar is AMAZING, feels awesome, sounds AWESOME, and looks AWESOME, I bought this guitar without knowing what it feels like. I took a gamble. I'm super picky about how my guitar feels in my hands, and I was lucky, the ONLY guitar I feel comfortable playing.
P.S. Don't waste your money on the custom, you're paying for the same thing with different pick ups, and the bolted on neck feels just as comfortable as the one piece.

.I've been saving up for this guitar for five months and i finally revieved it just last week. As soon as i opened the package i fell in love with the amazing gloss fnish and the marble-looking A7X inlayed fretboard. the double locked strings are amazing for those players who love to do crazy bends in their songs, not allowing the guitar to get out of tune! the guitar also has an option to switch from humbuckers to single coil pickups by pulling the tone knob or pushing it down. The guitar has amazing tone and durability, with awesome action. the included whammy bar can bend up or down, making those metal harmonics sound absolutely perfect. and you can't tell me it doesnt look amazing. if you are a metal lover, or an avenged sevenfold fan, this guitar is the guitar for you. it may be the standard version, but the only difference is the pickups.
has amazing features, with the humbucker and pickup options
great quality!
perfect for its price

.Let me just say that this guitar is okay but it isn't worth the money. The neck pickup is crap, but the bridge pickup can be covered up with buttloads of distortion to hide that it's pretty bad too. Action is ok but the rest of the guitar doesn't feel like a quality instrument. And I wouldn't reccomend buying a signature guitar as your main instrument. Tastes change and you could end up not liking A7x anymore. Signatures are better for guitar collectors, not people who need a steady instrument.

.After an hour after having the guitar, i couldnt put it down for another 3 hours! the fretboard is absolutley amzing with the death bat and the jumbo frets. it has a very fast neck which is comes in handy! its also nice with the switchable pickups from humbuckers to the single-coil! overall this guitar is definetly worth buying!!!

.This guitar is horrible, don't waste your money. i bought this guitar, and then got my money back, its that bad. It has the worst floyd rose ive ever played, and has terrible pick ups, spend your money on something better

.This not only sounds and feels beautiful it works amazingly i played it i borrowed for a show and recording as well i don't give a flying didaleedoo if its a "signature" guitar it plays well having the bolt-on gives possibility for replacement if it does get warped or broken! Thumbs Up on that
also the pickups i personally removed them later on but guess what it play's just as beautiful with SYN Invaders i only recommend consideration of changing the pickups after a while but thats if your like me who plays often in either a studio or a jam or even a small concert so you have a perfect guitar for a lower price i love it and you will too even if you lose your interest in A7X later on its a memoir and a beautiful instrument to have and use

.Lets sandwich this; this guitar is a classic addition to a collection, great design, a good dirty sound with distortion, and good for sweep-picking. I can't complain about the action as i'm used to high action on my guitars, but it feels tacky for the price and cheaply made. The pickups lack power but overall i love the look, it's easy to play and the fact it is what it is means i'm glad i bought it.

.The synyster standard's features are very nice. the floyd rose tremolo lets you do alot with the guitar that you would want. also very comfortable to hold, but kinda heavy =]. the sound is great especially throught line6 and marshall products. stays in tune very well and the looks of it are mind blowing. im definately planning on gettin one, but im poor so it'll take a year lol

.Well first off, I had to return it and ask for another because the neck pickup was producing an unpleasant static noise. That said, i figure most of these guitars will not do that.I play usually with distortion on the bridge pickup, so I will focus on that: it rocked! The option to use the coil action was a nice addition, it works just as well as my jackson which is similarly priced. The neck plays nice, although i do not prefer glossy necks, but some of you will. It feels really balanced when you play standing up and this is a real plus. This is my eighth guitar, so I was sort of buying it for the novelty value as I really dig A7X.However, I know a lot of people will buy this guitar because they think it will make them play like synyster gates. Don't buy this as your first or second guitar, or as a guitar you are planning to use on stage. It looks really tacky when you perform with a guitar that looks like a famous musician (ie everyone and there grandma wants to use a gibson explorer). All that said, the guitar is nice and well worth the money and novelty value.
