I have placed a review in for this pedal and said I like the effect but thats about where it ends for the most part. The chorusing is awesome but there are 2 things that annoy me about this pedal and thats the input jacks and the power jack. Why cant the in and outs be on the side of the pedal rather than the top? I mean its not a huge deal but still and why is it powered by the little 1/8th jack? Is this an attempt to be different lol. I mean I got the 1 Spot kit that thankfully came with a couple of the 1/8 plug coverters to power these EH pedals. Obviously depending on where u put the pedal in your chain the top mounted in and out jacks can work for you but do to the pedals "slanted" pitch it seems to sit way better at the top of the pedalboard. Minor pains but still annoying. Great sound though!

.I would give it a 10 if it was quiet and had more range.
Thickest Chorus ever! The depth switch is not to my liking, but some people can get good sounds out of it. I always leave it up.
Built like a tank. They can be a little noisy.
Reasonably priced.

. I bought this chorus about a year ago and love the tones it puts out! I am a huge fan of slow, shimmering chorus and this thing does that and more! Nice simple set up with one knob and a depth switch which is all you should need in a chorus. I have only one complaint with the Small Clone and that is that when activated it "pops" and sometimes loudly. Very annoying. It has caused me to keep looking around at other choruses. This is one of my favorite chorus pedals period and is a great buy for the money but please do something about the switch!
Nice and simple! Love the one knob one switch set up.
Seems to be a tough housing. Its no MXR housing by any means but built well.
Awesome tones for the money.

.After much searching and comparing I settled on this chorus pedal due to its sound, it does really sound great. I will say that the only reason I've given it only 4's is due to two things...the housing and the switch. Are they awful, no, but they do seem some what cheaply made I guess you could say. I heard reveiws on this about the switch "popping" and it did do it to me once but I'll tell you, this thing does sound great! The button is also tough to push. I got the extra year warranty from MF due to some of the reveiws just in case! When you have pedals like MXRs Carbon Copy that are built like absolute tanks its hard to praise the housing of the small clone. I also got a kick out of the warranty card that came with the clone....You gotta send like $12 plus dollars to have any warranty work done lol. That annoyed the heck out of me! Anyway it is a somewhat big pedal but the sound that this thing puts out is great! I hope it lasts.

.This is the best sounding chorus pedal I've ever used...probably because all the other ones were digital. I keep the depth switch off and the rate knob at about 11:00 for some nice subtle color on a few of my clean passages. Sounds great with my live tube head and my solid state practice amp (on clean settings). I'm not sure how I feel about it with distortion yet. I'm also still up in th air about wither it's better in the loop or in front. Usually effects like this are better in the loop but this pedal seems to squish the line-level signal and it sometimes distorts a bit. Points off for the construction quality as the casing seems a bit weak. Also the power input requires a vintage style 1/8" plug so you have to either buy the adapter separately or, if you use a DC brick for you board you'll need a converter...kind of annoying. I also wish it had a mix control so it could be used in a parallel loop. But it's the sound that counts and that's top shelf as far as I'm concerned.

.READ THIS FIRST: Unless you want to run this off of 9v batteries for the rest of your life you will need an Electro-Harmoniz MALE 9v adapter (which is NOT included with the pedal and MF doesn't sell).

However, the simple workaround is to purchase the Visual Sound 1/8" 1 SPOT Converter – which MF does sell. Make sure to get the FEMALE to MALE version.

Okay, pedal-wise... if you want the Kurt Corbain "Come As You Are" sound, set this to around 9:00 and smile your butt off.

Built like a tank, sounds phenomenal, girls dig you for digging it.

Buy one and you're welcome.

.bought the bigmuff, holy grail max, and this chorus pedal, but doesn't take the same plug as the other two, and nowhere does it say it on the product description other than 9 volt battery or A/C. So disappointed, I'm going to send it back and buy something else because I don't want to have to use batteries. I hope they don't charge me the return shipping cost.

.Increidibly, 3 of these broke from December til March. Custom Guitars friend was great and replaced each with no problem but what is the point? After a few weeks use, they all did the same thing - buzzing mixed with the chorus for a few days, then finally no sound. I gave up. Custom Guitars friend issued a credit, I bought a Boss.
Electro-Harmonix Classics Small Clone Analog Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.Bought this to play nirvana songs. As far as I can tell, that's basically all it's good for. One knob, one function. No depth, width, or rate. Real basic. Kurt Cobain loves this pedal.
Electro-Harmonix Classics Small Clone Analog Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.I bought this pedal because chorus is my favorite guitar effect for that nice clean, watery, soothing sound, and this is exactly what this pedal does. It has a depth switch with two settings- and when they say depth they really mean it. The lower depth setting is a more subtle chorus, while the higher one immerses you in that deeper, "come as you are" kinda chorus. Then theres a circular rate knob, which controls the rate that the "wave" of chorus fluctuates back and forth at. It's amazing the number of different tones that you can get out of just two controls on this pedal, and if you mess around with your EQ you can get so many different sounds. The only single gripe that I have with this pedal is the fact that it doesn't take a standard wall adapter but thats not really a big deal as you can just buy an adapter for it. Overall if you're looking for a really clean sounding analog chorus, look no further.
