I lead worship and one of the biggest obstacles is the lack of versatility of going straight acoustic or electric, which meant that if I was missing a guitarist I usually had to just use my acoustic and deal with not having an electric. I got this to solve that problem and solve it it did. I didn't get the preamp/smart jack that you can buy in addition to this because I was probably going to use my own pre and wouldn't really need to worry about stereo/mono stuff. Right now I'm using a stereo in to 2-mono out with one out going to my POD XT and one going to another volume pedal. This is an awesome setup and I've been using it for almost a year. I haven't had any problems with the pickup except for spotty connections every now and then, but I suspect that is due to bad soldering or other interference. It's got a great acoustic sound and now I don't have to sacrifice electric capabilities to achieve true acoustic tone.
