Professional musician for over 25 years. After trying every major brand of acoustic guitar strings out there, I finally settled on Martin strings. Sure, there are other strings that are made to sound brighter, or coated to sound crisp longer... but I feel those strings alter the natural sound of the acoustic. I'd rather change my strings a bit more often and have a true, traditional acoustic tone. I get that from the Martin strings.

.These strings are brilliant. They really make your guitar sing. Every note on the fretboard sounds beautiful and I'm hearing harmonics that I wasn't able to pick up before with other strings. These Martins are also pretty great about holding their tunes. They seem to be pretty long lasting as well. I was a little wary about using different string than I usually do (mine were out of stock) but now I'm so glad that I did. These strings are giving my 7-year-old guitar some new life.
