I have had this guitar for about a month now. i must say it is incredible the tone that comes out of rivals that of expensive jacksons. The neck is thin but not to thin. Once set up properly ( 10-15mins) you can shred like you never thought u could shred before. There is no reason to even upgrade the pickups they sounds amazing as is. Me being a newbie to a floyd rose accidentally turn the nut to tight which ended up stripping the screw no problem thought just had to rethread and use a longer nut. so be careful when locking it in not to tight but tight enough. all in all this guitar is amazing for the metal player in all of us that is on a budget but doesn't want to skimp on features or playability. BUY THIS GUITAR you wont be disappointed.

.I've been, for ages, looking for a decent Kramer Striker that wasn't overpriced, but then this gem caught my eye. At first glance, I saw everything I wanted out of a good Kramer: A strat-style guitar with a double locking bridge and maple fretboard. And the quilt top maple paired with the reversed headstock was just the icing. Now for the playability: The bridge wasn't set up well at all at the used music store that I found this at. The action was far too high and the bridge was angled forward. After getting it home and doing some adjustments, it plays like a dream. I find myself playing faster than I normally could. There are some complaints saying that it goes out of tune whenever you use the tremolo, but if you know how to set it up correctly, you won't have any noticeable issues with it. As for the pickups, I love the neck pickup, but the bridge pickup has to go. Not enough 'umph'. I'll soon be replacing it with a DiMarzio X2N. I'll likely replace the neck pickup at some point as well. Aside from this guitar, I have an Epiphone Futura Prophecy Custom FX and a Fender 50th Anniversary Golden Stratocaster (fully scalloped fretboard, replaced all pickups, tuning machines, and bridge), and I have to say, I already prefer this to my Fender, and once I get that pickup installed, it will definitely surpass my Epiphone. All in all, this is a great guitar if you're willing to put a little work into it.

.The sound didn't blow my mind and neither did the feel of this guitar. The frets were rough or sharp around the edges and on my guitar the mid and neck pickups sounded almost dead. I replaced them only to find out it's a guitar issue. I'd have to say I could get a better deal from another brand name. On the plus side it's durable because I used mine as a project guitar and scalloped the neck. Making lemonade out of life's lemons.

.This is a awesome guitar with the extra thin neck mine is the black flamed maple top black chrome hardware and maple fret board this thing plays like a dream. This being the first new guitar I bought. I wanted something i could be proud of with all the features and beauty of the more expensive guitars. The only thing i was truly not happy with was the bridge pickup but after dropping in a Seymour Duncan Distortion its awesome

.This is one of the most incredible best values available. For a first guitar you can't find better. For a jamming/Practice guitar it will suit you well. Worship teams will be thrilled. With a little TLC and new Pick ups you have a guitar ready for a small venue tour. Hit albums have been recorded with less. I am pro level and just for fun I grabbed this axe up and just to see what would happen I replaced the stock pick ups with Dragonfirre Crucader Pickup at the bridge and Rail Pick ups from main land china for mid and neck. I am thrilled! Many of the holy grail bygone era speakers, guitars, amps, pick ups that we all run to with wheel Barrels of cash started out as cheap values. Hats what these are. ESP LTD! good stuff!

All electric guitars require set up as climate is as much a part of a guitars construction as it does destination. Unless you are blowing thousands on a Big name, every new guitar requires a set up and restring. I am fortunate enough to have many years of guitar maintenance experience and have learned the tricky settings that FR trems require. I am also picky about strings. EB Cobalts are terrific so right away I swapped strings out. That makes all the difference in tone and can make a catalog guitar sound like a Private Reserve guitar. Pick ups are a big deal also. 90 percent of stock pick ups are not very good quality. I put A TNT Guitars Dragonfire Crusader at the Bridge and a couple of hot rails in the single coil spots. A little soldiering experience is good for every guitar player. So what is a good guitar vs what is junk? The junk can not be set up no matter what. A good quality guitar is one that sets up quickly and well. The guitars neck is the most important aspect. The neck on this machine required no set up what so ever. I lowered the action a bit expecting to need to knock down a couple frets but as it was the frets were fine. This is a great choice for any player. It is fine out of the box for a beginner and is less expensive making it a great axe to learn on. I intend to use it regularly in front of several hundred people. So yeah! great axe!

.This sweet little guitar plays excellent!

.This is a fantastic guitar, and very well worth the price that you pay for it. It has a fantastic feel and an array of great sounds. Only flaw I've found is that the stock locking nut screws are made of a soft metal. One of the three has already been stripped completely out. Suggest investing in some stainless steel screws.

.I have to tell you that this is worth every penny. You will not be sorry if you buy this guitar. Feels just like a real ESP and in all actuallity it is. I can't tell any difference except for the logo on the headstock. I owned a M-II custom back in 94' and this guitar feels better that the that one! For a little over 300 bucks this guitar will give you everything you need to play rock and metal! no need to change pick-ups unless you REALLY need that seymour or EMG sound. Plenty of harmonics, plenty of dive in the bridge!! Don't pass this one up!!
