First off, I really do like this guitar, but being a budget guitar you get what you pay for. It has solid tone, and stays tuned very well. I love the feel of the fretboard and the unpainted neck is as fast as any other guitar I've played. The string action is perfect (you barely have to press to get notes out, can't say that for some of the Les Pauls I've owned).

The down side for me were the pick ups. Yes, they have solid tone as I said before, but their sustain leave a lot to be desired. I play doom metal, and sustain (for me) is super important. I plan on dropping a SD Nazgul Bridge and SD Black Winter Neck some time soon, and the total cost of this axe will still be well below the higher end stuff, even the budget ($200+) guitars.

.Great guitar for the buck I spent. Mean pickups... Metal axe..

.The guitar was great! Even though this is my 1st however I have picked around on a few from time to time at stores and that and for the price and quality I would recommend this for all guitarists of all experience

.I have been playing guitar for about 12 years and play metal and rock. I got this as a backup/travel guitar so that I wouldn't have to bring my more expensive ESP EX-400 around to practice etc. The M10 has very good stock pickups, much better than I expected, and feels very good. I prefer 22 fret guitars to 24 frets also, so this works.

It is very light, though a bit neck-heavy, and has a very bassy tone due to the body wood, with much more bass than my mahogany bodied EX. No sharp fret edges or anything, very smooth playing. It's a good looking and playing instrument.

.While I haven't owned this model, or an LTD Mirage, I did play it for an alright amount of time in a music store, and I came very close to buying it. I'd compare the playability to the ESP M-III Deluxe I had when I was younger, which really surprised me considering this was a bottom-of-the-line LTD. This guitar is that good. The neck and frets were great. It played like a dream and the neck fit my hand better than any other guitar I've ever laid my hands on.
At this price point, you legitimately can't get a better guitar when it comes to playability. However, like all cheap guitars, the body wood is cheap and the pickups aren't great. Not bad, but not great. Even swapping in new pickups wouldn't make an enormous difference as the body wood isn't that great.
If you're new to playing, this hands down the guitar for you. Even if you're experienced and just want something to beat on. Or a for Saturday morning impulse buy, you can gave something that won't let you down for roughly the price of 2 new video games.

.The fret edges have been filed down nicely, the neck looks good, and there are no dead spots among the frets. The D'Addario Nickel-Wound XL strings that it came with are nice, but initially left black marks on my fingers for some reason...? Oh well, it washed right off with soap. The strings do sound nice, and I imagine it might've just been paint dust. On the guitar's finish, a small area just between the tone knob and the input jack has an area where paint was lightly applied and has a swirl to it. It's not really noticeable, except upon close inspection, and it wasn't a deal-breaker for me. Other than that slight blemish, I don't have any other complaints. The pickups and electronics work perfectly. I'm currently playing this through an iRig into an iPad mini, using various amplifier apps, then outputting to some basic headphones. It sounds, feels, and looks great! For a guitar of this price range, it's a strong contender, and exactly what I needed.

.I needed a beater to leave plugged in for my studio area. It'll get banged around a lot. Can't top this one for the price, and saves wear and tear on my other gear.
