Pitch Shifter Pedal, Pitch Shifter Stomp Box, Pitch Shifting, Harmonizer Pedal

What is a Pitch Shifter Pedal?  How Does Pitch Shifter Sound? Pitch Shifter Pedals takes the sound of your guitar and adds a pitch that harmonizes with the sound at a higher, lower, or multiple pitch.  Pitch Shifter Pedals are also considered pitch shifters or pitch shifting type devices because they affect the pitch of the sound to blend harmonies and octaves.  Pitch Shifters are closely related to Octave Pedals and are sometimes called harmonizer pedals.

How To Use The Pitch Shifter Pedals? First, See How to Hook Up an Effects Pedal.  When a song calls for harmonized guitar note or pitch shifter effect you will tap the stomp box to engage the effect. The Pitch shifter pedals usually have an expression pedal to give you different pitches at certain parts of a song by depressing or letting off of the pedal.

DigiTech Whammy Pedal with MIDI Control

DigiTech Whammy Pedal with MIDI Control

The performance and sound of the new DigiTech Whammy Pedal with MIDI Control are reminiscent of the original red WH-1 Whammy. All the favorite whammy settings that guitar players covet are available again at the touch of a knob. Added is a new Dive Bomb effect, similar to that of a Floyd Rose whammy bar pushed all the way to the body of the guitar. Another new addition is a MIDI-in jack, allowing remote control of effects via MIDI devices. Both type and control are accomplished via MIDI program changes and CC messages respectively. Wet/Dry outputs are provided.
