The Media Web Source website includes all of the songwriting and music industry information and promotion tactics that I wanted to know when starting a band and indie career as a teenager.  I eventually got a few of my musician friends together, formed a band, and recorded some quality music.  The one item I did not fully understand is how to get started marketing and promoting a band.  Eventually, though trial and error, I had success getting gigs, songwriting, recording CD's, and submitting demos. 

Musicians of all genres can benefit from the music resources we have gathered.  While I can not guarantee success with the information that we're providing, I do believe the resources can get your local band, garage band, or songwriting career moving in the right direction.  At the very least we would like to provide valuable  tips to help get your band get out of the garage and into a gig.
